Inspired by C.S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe. After coming across a Lewis poem entitled, "The Planets," I wrote the lyrics to this song, opening it with two lines from his peom:
"Of wrath ended and woes mended,
Winter passed and guilt forgiv'n."
lyrics
Of wrath ended and woes mended,
Winter passed and guilt forgiv’n.
Our new king has descended,
So move further up and further in.
Wake up from this winter,
Into the world of all things new.
I feel you drawing nearer,
‘Cause I know, that Love is on the move.
You’re on the move.
You’re on the move.
I’m rescued from myself,
And then you took the blame.
Much more than any wealth,
Is the life that I have gained.
Wake up from this winter,
Into the world of all things new.
I feel you drawing nearer,
‘Cause I know, that Love is on the move.
You’re on the move.
You’re on the move.
Wake up from this winter,
Into the world of all things new.
I feel you drawing nearer,
‘Cause I know, that Love is on the move.
Wake up from this winter, (You are here,
Into the world of all things new. And your Love is on the move.)
I feel you drawing nearer,
‘Cause I know, that Love is on the move.
You’re on the move.
You’re on the move.
Wake up from this winter,
Into the world of all things new.
I feel you drawing nearer,
‘Cause I know, that Love is on the move.
You’re on the move.
You’re on the move.
